IMPLANT THERAPY FOR EDENTULOUS PATIENTS (COURSE B)
Participants will place implants in edentulous models and restore with overdenture
Participants will also observe implant placement and restoration with overdenture on a live patient
SYNOPSIS:
According to CDC data, approximately one-third of Americans over the age 65 are edentulous and their number is projected to increase over the next twenty years. Implant-supported prostheses have been documented to improve the quality of life of patients and are gaining acceptance as the standard of care. A variety of treatment options exist for edentulous patients. Implant-supported prostheses can solve
many of the problems experienced by patients with complete dentures.
